What Makes Frank Kearney Busy?


Lt. Gen. Frank Kearney used to be a strategic operational planning deputy director at the National Counterterrorism Center. He has endured a total of 35 years active service that made him the perfect person to ask in terms of describing the actual situations that soldiers usually face during deployment. The General was able to undergo all the struggles and the danger that military men must face in order to serve their country and to be able to survive for their family. General Kearney has contributed in the documentary film known as Restrepo which shows to the people how difficult it is to become a hero to your country. They faced a lot of hardships and struggles. And General Kearney has seen and experiences it all first hand.

After his active service he looked for another career to start to make him useful to his family and to help him keep his mind off things. He is working at the Opportunities Development Group which is a start-up company. He is working as a business development consultant. Besides his new career he is also a former rugby player and is the Patron of the United States Combined Services Rugby Team. He also actively participates and helps his fellow soldiers. He is the advisor of the Team Red White and Blue a nonprofit organization which aims to help veterans and also help show to the people that they need also intention also. Respect for the people who served their country is enough to show importance to our veterans.

General Frank Kearney has already seen it all and knows exactly how difficult it is to adjust into normally living. There are a lot of other officers who like General Kearney who is now enjoying a life of a retiree. He enjoy consultation and writing about his experience in Afghanistan. He participated in the documentary created by the national geographic entitled Restrepo. This perfectly shows the lives and struggles of an American soldier deployment in Afghanistan. War brings death and great suffering but it also gives peace and freedom afterward. His life experience has made him strong and his career has shaped him into what he is today retired General Kearney.
